While I absolutely love the baby stage {I can't get enough of Ilah laying sweetly on my chest}, I anticipate the time when I will see her transition into new developmental stages: the first time she laughs {while not asleep}, the first time she reaches for me. The first time she babbles and tries to say a word or two. The first time she crawls. The first time she sits in her highchair and shares in meal time with us. The first time that she draws a picture. I could go on and on. Needless to say, we are looking forward to lots of "firsts"! Perhaps I should say "new firsts" since we have already experienced some heartwarming firsts already; we sure do love our girl!!
