One of the easiest ways to get lots of home interior decoration ideas is to simply surf the internet. On the internet almost everything is free and in these days every single day more and more new content is uploaded, so if you want to feed your home interiors inspiration the internet is the best place. Now if you want a little more help before you start I would like to suggest two articles that might give you some useful informations 7 Most Important Interior Design Principles and Room Color and How it Affects your Mood. After you have the basic idea, you can start to search for pictures with home interiors to feed your imagination. Now I know that most people have their problems, and I’ve decided to post from time to time a collection of home interiors from different designers. For today I’ve selected Timothy Corrigan a man who started designing houses for himself in his free time, and when he started getting requests for his help from friends, Corrigan recalls, “I decided to follow my heart and moved into that world.”. If you want to see more home interiors by Timothy you can check his portofolio.

Christmas Ornaments for Ilah

It's official. Thanksgiving day has passed and now it's onto Christmas. Although it seems that this year the two holidays overlapped. I began seeing Christmas trees and decorations going up in local stores as early as late September/early October this year. Retailers have been promoting the Christmas holiday quite early hoping to wheel in profits. I also started seeing Christmas wreaths on doors, and lights on houses, weeks ago. And radio stations began playing Christmas carols days before turkey's had even gone in the ovens.

While even though I haven't yet flipped my calendar page to December 1, I'll join the masses of people who love the spirit of the Christmas holiday and are happy that it's arrived.

I just adore the below Christmas ornaments {from Crate and Barrel}. I think it would be sweet for Ilah to have her own Christmas tree that she can decorate and then in true fashion, tell everyone about the tree that she did "all by herself"! Of course she could also help mommy and daddy decorate the big tree too! Perhaps we would place under her little pint size tree all of her Christmas presents that are from Jesus!These ornaments, while being oh-so-cute, are also a tad bit on the pricey side {perhaps that's the bargain shopper in me coming out}. I'm not sure I want to chance that they will still be in stock after Christmas at a fraction of the cost so I may just bite the bullet and order a variety of these lovelies:

Set of Three {$20.95}

Set of Two {$15.90}

Set of Three {$29.95}
The ornaments are made of solid felted wool and patterned cotton fabric. Aren't they SO cute?!?!

Thanksgiving

As many of us will be partaking in our traditional, bountiful Thanksgiving dinners, there will be many people who just can't afford to do so this year. There are so many people struggling financially these days and have to make cutbacks in various areas of life - for some, Thanksgiving will be on a much smaller scale this year. I came across a poem that reminds us that even in the midst of hard times, being thankful is a state of mind; I wanted to share it all with you....

Thanksgiving Every Day
The table is brimming with good things to eat;
We're surrounded by family and friends; what a treat.
The feelings that fill us today can’t be beat;
It’s Thanksgiving Day, and it all feels complete.
But other days, sometimes things don’t seem so fine;
Those days are not polished and don’t seem to shine.
It's then in our minds, we forget all the good,
And think of the things we would get, if we could.
On days when our thinking causes us dread,
If we could remember, it’s all in our head,
And not let our minds take our gratitude away,
Then we'd make every day like Thanksgiving Day.

If you are a regular reader of this blog, you'll know that we have a soft spot for pretty, colorful things. We love decor that is fun, happy, and bright.

Our sales rep emailed us yesterday about Lights Up, a lighting company based out of New York. We love the line and thought we should share it with you. They make pretty, colorful pendants, which are really inexpensive and really fun. Lightsup's lead time is 10 days. The fabric can be customized.

Here are some of our favorites:

The fabric selection is adorable. Here are a few (you can see the rest on the site).

These pendants, as we mentioned previously, are totally inexpensive. They run between $200-$400.

To see the complete line, check out Lights Up web site. We'll be putting them up on our lighting section soon, so check our site in a few days...

Thanksgiving Plates

Yesterday I ate at Panera Bread for lunch. I ordered half of a Frontera Panini Sandwich, and half of a greek salad. Chips came with it too - and I drank water with lemon. I should have been satisfied after eating all that, right? Wrong. When I ate my last bite I was still starving {unbelievable!} so I made my way back to the counter and ordered another round of what I just ate!!! I let my belly do all the talking hoping that the person who had just served me 15 minutes prior wouldn't judge me! Ha!! Perhaps I need to wear a shirt like this one on Thanksgiving day....

T-shirt found here

Next year we will have a little one joining us at the Thanksgiving table! I love the idea of having a personalized children's plate for her that will be all her own. I came across the one's below and think they are so cute. I provided links to the sites where I found them if you're interested in getting one {or more} of your own!
