Friday Fun Day!

Happy Friday everyone!

We're spending the day at home and having lots of fun playing....

I have a brave baby on my hands friends! Ever since Ilah started crawling {on July 21st} she wasted no time becoming adventurous. She crawls to and fro and likes to test her "durability" {so to speak} by reaching for things that are up out of her reach, sitting up on her knees, and pulling up on just about everything. Ilah is definitely an explorer!

This week has been scorching hot outside. Even the mornings have been unbearable, so unfortunately we haven't gone out for any morning walks this week. With the humidity levels, it puts the temperature at around 102 degrees. Next week is supposed to be hotter than this week...cripes!!

My mom is always buying fun toys for Ilah. Here is Ilah with her "phone"....

Before I know it, this girl will be a teenager wanting to spend endless hours on a real phone!

Remember when I said that Ilah is pulling up on things? And remember that little toy phone of hers that you just saw her playing with above? Well, it quickly got tossed to the side so that she could use her two hands to pull up on the couch....

I have an eager girl I tell ya!

Back to the ground we go.....

The poor girl gets kissed, hugged and lovingly squeezed a gazillion times a day! I can't help it....look at this girl....

Ilah is on the move a lot throughout the day. So far, she hasn't tried to touch anything....she just likes being mobile and using her knees to get her places!....

She stops. She looks....

And then she crawls back! Ha!....

Aside from Ilah's two bottom teeth, I haven't seen any other ones come out. She still loves to goes to town on her teething rings - particularly this one!.....

Hey Mommy! Can you see me?....

And....she's off.....

Look at this girl! As if crawling and pulling up on things isn't enough, she tries to stand up too!....

I think Ilah is going to be an early walker.

Yes, baby safety gates have been purchased and are going up TODAY!.....

And then onto baby proofing the rest of the house!
