I mentioned in a post last week, we have our first family vacation coming up next month - and where we're going, passports are required {we are so excited!}. Well...we're headed to CANADA!! Specifically, Toronto. I've been there before, with my mom, two years ago, and I loved my time there {Mr. Wonderful actually proposed to me the night before I left!}. I have family there and am looking forward to seeing my Uncle {my mom's brother}, my Aunt, and my cousins again. Because of how far a part we live from one another, the last time I saw them was when they flew in for my wedding last year. It will be so much fun to return to Toronto with my husband, and our little one {my mom will be coming too!}.
Niagara Falls was absolutely breathtaking - once you see it in person, you understand why it's listed as one of the seven wonders of the world. I can't wait for Dele to see it - and for us to take a family picture in front of the gorgeous setting.
Here are a few pictures from my trip to Canada two years ago....
I also didn't take the below picture {obviously} but I also wanted to show you what the falls look like at night - they literally light them up - it's just amazing!! If you go, you definitely have to visit the falls both during the day and at night to see the different perspectives.
Here are a few other pictures that I took while out and about in Toronto {the two pictures below were taken just a block or two from the falls - an area that has lots of shops and restaurants}....I visited the CN Tower {the needle looking structure below} - the tower is the world's tallest building and free standing structure.
Below is a picture that I took while I was inside the tower. All the way around, the structure offers panoramic views - you can dine inside it and also shop!
Naturally, traveling with a baby requires lots of planning in advance {I'll be doing a post on that in the upcoming weeks}, but I've gotten a good head start on things and am confident that we will pull this off just fine! : )
