A Morning In The Life of Ilah

Bright-eyed, and with her mommy's headband adorned on her head, Ilah met Friday morning with much happiness.

There's a new pup that has won Ilah's affection. Meet Max....

Ilah can't get enough of him. She hasn't forgotten about her beloved pup Rufea {go here, here, here, and here, for some sitings}, but since Max is new {he came from her Abuela's house}, he's been getting more of Ilah's attention these days. Look at how she's looking at her mommy in this photo...like she's going to bite if anyone gets too close to her puppy....

Max follows Ilah around and is usually by her side wherever she goes...

But Max can get worn out sometimes so he usually naps when Ilah does....

After breakfast, Ilah was one busy bee. She pointed out to her mommy that I and her daddy got married, just in case her mommy forgot....

She tried to put as many toys as she could into her little garden bench....

But decided to take them all out and stand on it instead....

Nothing like a baby in cute pj's....

Ilah took to the window and thought about how she was going to start her day....

She got distracted for a minute when a real dog passed by....

Then she picked up her magic bubble wand....

And stood in front of the tree to dust it without actually dusting it....

Waving the wand over it should do the trick {if only that could happen in real life!}.....

Exhausted from such a tedious task, Ilah made herself some tea....

Afterwards, she wanted to get out of the house for a bit, so she grabbed her cell phone to see who she should call to see if they were free....

She phoned Dora, who unfortunately couldn't meet up with Ilah because she was away on an adventure with Boots.

Ilah was bummed. She picked up her purse and thought about where she should go...

Even though she had no real agenda, she put her purse on her shoulder and prepared to head out....

She offered her mommy a see-you-later hug....

She headed to her car that was parked next to My Little Pony's convertible....

But Ilah decided on her other ride....

When she returned, she wrote out a list of things she still needed to do....

Which included "keep my shoes on"....

After writing down some things, Ilah picked up the camera to take some pictures...

She was quickly worn out and retreated to the refrigerator for some milk...

Remembering that the dishwasher needed to be run, she waved her plastic spoon over it...but it didn't turn on. "That's odd", she thought.

She decided to take a break since she had done so much and wasn't even 9:00 a.m yet....

Man, it's tough being an 18 month old.
