Ilah's Christmas Day Outfits & The Hubby's Christmas Gift Comes Early!

I purchased Ilah's Christmas dress a few months ago. I just love it....

The sweater can actually detach from the dress....
So, just as there's a "fancy, frilly" outfit, there's also a "comfy" one!!....

I went in to Kirklands today and was supposed to just do a return and be on my way. Buuut, a certain rack caught my eye and naturally I just had to get this for Ilah to wear on Christmas day.

Is that not an adorable long sleeve onsie? I knew that the inside of our house would be so warm during Thanksgiving {ovens going, body heat circulating, etc.} that I purposely put Ilah in a short sleeve long dress because I didn't want her to be hot while she played. It was so warm in fact that we actually turned the AC on for a bit. So for Christmas, this little onsie {that I will pair with her Ralph Lauren jeans - that may come off} is such a cute little outfit for Ilah to strut around in!

I also bought her this ADORABLE bib....

All set for Christmas day!!

In case you're wondering if they come in adult sizes, they don't. Ha!!

On another note: Christmas came a little early for my husband this year. He's been drooling over the new Windows phone 7. I've shared that Mr. Wonderful is a Senior Software Developer for a huge company. Aside from his day job he's been developing applications for the Windows phone 7 and completed his first one, which was approved by Windows and made available for the public to view and purchase, before the phone was even released and put on the market {you can read about his first app here, and the second one here}. Naturally, he wants the phone!! The...{uh hem} $500 phone. Cripes!! A few weeks ago he discovered that Windows was giving away their newest phone through 59 bloggers who were doing giveaways for them. You could enter for a chance to win a phone by leaving a new and different comment every single day for two weeks...and every.single.day my husband did just that {to up his odds of winning}. Well......guess who won a new Windows phone 7?!?!?! When my husband called me from work today to say, "you won't believe what just happened", I braced myself for what the next words were going to be. I mean, really...those words, and the way he said it, it could have been anything. Spilled coffee in his lap...locked his keys in his car, passed gas at a team meeting and got called out on it...Ha! Naturally, when he told me that he had won the phone I was just as elated as he was!! Funny thing is....we just ordered the phone through T-Mobile last night! They matched an incredible deal that my husband saw and discounted the phone even more because he's been a long time customer. The sales from my Etsy shop have been awesome and I wanted to buy him the phone for Christmas from the proceeds that have been coming in : ) Winners of the phone were supposed to be contacted a few days ago so he assumed that he didn't win, which is why we ordered the phone at an amazing price. His email notification came just today and even though it was late coming, it was an awesome surprise nonetheless!! Just last night my husband said to me, "well, that sucks. I'm bummed I didn't win. That was a waste of time {referring to the weeks of comments that he did}. I told him, "it wouldn't have been a waste of time if you actually did win". And whaddya know!!!! We were able to cancel the phone order through TMobile and his new Windows phone 7 that he won will arrive next week!!!! Amazing how it all turned out!!!! I'm married to a wonderful, amazing guy who is such a hard worker and a devoted family man. He more than deserves something wonderful like this happening to him : ) I should make a point to spend lots of quality time with him this weekend {while he's still Windows phone 7 free} because once his new phone comes, he probably won't even look up from the screen for weeks!! Ha!!
