Awaiting the Arrival of a Friend & Prepping for Valentines Day!

In just a few weeks, my girlfriend Vanessa will be visiting from Las Vegas, along with her adorable little girl Alina {who is the exact same age as Ilah}. They will be here for 6 days and I am bursting at the seams for them to get here!! Ilah and Alina were born just days a part and we can't wait for them to meet and play, and for all of us to share in a fun filled mother-daughter week!! We will be venturing to Savannah for a few days with the girls - and you all know how much I just love it there.

I booked reservations at the new Avia Hotel that opened up there. It has gotten excellent reviews and is in the center of it all.

I imagine that since we are going to Savannah mid-week, that the hotel won't be busy. This breakfast space looks so cozy!....

My friend Vanessa leaves the day before Valentines Day so we thought that it would be cute to have a little Valentines Day party with the girls! Vanessa got Alina and Ilah some seriously cute little tulle dresses for their party and will be making matching hair accessories for them - and I've been purusing the web for ideas for our little party and came across this ADORABLE little photoshoot {our little party won't be on this scale, but it sure was cute to look at!}...

I've been busy the past few days creating hair bows for Valentines Day!! I've just added these to my etsy shop, Morgan Lane Boutique.....

I also started making mini bows as well! They measure approx. 2.25"....


I have a few orders that have already sold and that I need to ship out, and I will be adding more Valentines Day bows to my shop. I've been having so much fun making these!

I also have some NEW microfiber headbands in an array of colors that I will be adding to my etsy shop!! These are the same super soft headbands that I put on Ilah's head. The bows look SO CUTE attached to one of these!!....
