For about a week, the Ducan Hines brownie box sitting in my cupboard has been calling my name. I have a sweet tooth that never ends {which reminds me, I need to make an appointment at the Dentist's office - I'm starting to feel a little "something". Not good}.
I can only hit my internal "ignore" button so many times so last night I caved and stired up the mix. Brownie time!!
This time around, I made the brownie's differently. I don't know about you, but the edges of the brownie's are THE BEST, are they not?! So I thought about placing the brownie batter inside of my mini muffin pan so that each brownie bite had that "edge" yumminess! I had never done this before so I wasn't sure how they were going to turn out. But I chanced it.
I sprayed the pan with non-stick cooking spray so that the brownies would slide out easily once they were baked, and then I spooned a little of the mix into each hole...
I wasn't sure how long I needed to bake them for since this was something totally new for me to try out so I went back after 10 minutes, stuck a knife in the middle of one and could see that they needed another 5 minutes in the oven. When I went back after 15 minutes and checked them, they were perfect!....
After they cooled, I removed them from the mini muffin pan....
And indulged in four right away! They were rich {I used dark chocolate}, chewy, and had that small amount of crunch to it around the edges. Just how I wanted them to turn out!! They were SOOOOO yummy!!!!
Treats that were easy to make, and ready to be grabbed!....

These little brownie bites can be spruced up with nuts, frosting, etc. I did a quick google search and saw some great future ideas!
